Air Force Vet at the Craft ShowI met Glenn at the Pawtuxet, RI Gaspee Days Craft Show where he was raising money for disabled veterans. He graciously told me about the challenges facing veterans as early as the Korean War all the way up to the present day. During his time in the Air Force, he suffered injuries to his back and, as the badge on his left shoulder indicates, post-traumatic stress syndrome.754,960Not For Sale

I ran into Joe and his friends at Lowe's Hardware Store. They were just on their way out and I just knew I had to meet him. I asked him if I could take his portrait for my upcoming photo exhibition. He looked me up and down and said, "Hmm, you lookin' for characters?" I said, "No, I'm looking for men with character like you".
